A lonely relaxed beach in Uruguay was reason enough to rearrange the travel plans to accomodate a few additional days at that unique spot. It didn't take long to replicate the state of mind of the locals.

The Cuban fab four

The zoo is an excellent place for testing out new cameras. In this case a snow leopard filled in as a model behind a rock formation, seemingly annoyed by the noise of a group of kids.

An early morning visit to the closeby lake didn't dissapoint. A common tern proudly presents its catch.

At first I was a bit disappointed about the harsh sunlight, as it rendered the views from the top of the hill quite boring. But this curious swallowtail more than compensated for the uphill walk.
